Challenge
Patricia of Amherst, NY came to us looking for an update on her already finished space. She wanted to create a bedroom space for overnight guests, but knew she would need updates in order to meet New York State codes. She had been hesitant to update her space because she wanted to keep her existing built-in cabinets but was worried that new walls would mean giving them up! With her concerns in her mind she called us and we scheduled her a free estimate with one of our Design Specialists. She chose our company after seeing photos of a unique job that was done on a road near her own home!
Solution
We were able to keep Patricia’s original built-ins by installing our EverLast Wall System intricately around them. We also installed an egress window in order to bring her space up to New York State code, so her guests could sleep in a safe space with an emergency exit!
