What A Difference A Ceiling Can Make - And It Shows In Grand Island, NY

   When you look at your basement, it isn't often that the first thing you notice is your ceiling. But it can make a huge difference in the appearance of your basement and how you think about it. At Total Basement Finishing we use two types of tiles: Linen Ceiling Tiles and Prestige Ceiling Tiles. These aren't the ceiling tiles that you know (and already have strong feelings about). These tiles are either made of stone wool fiber or mineral fiber, not wood fibers or cardboard; which makes them mold resistant and much more sturdy. They are so great that they come with a 30 year warranty against mold growth and sagging! Such a good investment.

   And they have great benefits, other than just looking so nice. If your basement is going to be an area for children to play, or teens to hang out in this is a fantastic option as the ceiling tiles create a level of sound absorption.  It's also fantastic as a bedroom in the basement feature so you have have less noise and rest better.  We all need that!

   These tile truly look fantastic. A great example happened in a house that we worked on in Grand Island, NY.  This was a house with a growing family, so having plenty of space (and a bit of sound absorption) was a concern for them.
