Why Change How You Insulate When You Renovate?

When renovating your basement, one of the things that you should take a look at is the insulation that is down there.  If it looks like the photo below, it's time to remove it and have new insulation put in.

Old Insulation Basement Insulation

Why you might think?  Mice, insects, and other pests LOVE to nest in fluffy insulation. That comes with diseases that they can spread and messes that they can leave behind even after you get rid of them.  This insulation also is a breeding ground for mold, mildew, and other spores that can make you sick. Renovation time is a great time to get rid of this old insulation and invest in a less pest and growth prone insulation. We recommend our EverLast Insulated Wall System, which features a high density inorganic insulation that pests hate and is water, mold, and mildew resistant.
