Basement Apartment in East Aurora, NY

Challenge

Our customer had a walk out basement that was not being used for anything more than storage - with the space being large, and easily accessible (with it's own entrance) she decided to create a full, functional basement apartment. What a great idea!

Solution

Our customer hired us to finish the existing space into a fully functional basement apartment. This included adding a bedroom, bathroom and a bright entry way for an open feel. This space definitely feels like home now.

Framing in what will be the utility room - this will separate the apartment from the equipment in the basement. Having the hot water tank out of sight will really help to keep the space feeling clean and clutter free.

Adding functional EverLast windows will add light and allow the basement apartment to have some airflow!

Updating the existing entry way allowed us to add LOTS of natural light. By choosing a large window and a windowed door the light pours in.
