A woman contacted us about turning her large basement into an apartment for her son who was moving back to Tonawanda, NY. She was interested in creating several rooms in the basement and laying out the space to include a small kitchen and a half bathroom. Our Design Specialist got her son involved in the redesign process, and found that he wanted to add a full bathroom instead of a half bath, and a secure exterior exit to the basement so that he could come and go without disturbing his mother.
Total Basement Finishing of WNY was happy to step in and work with this family on their basement redesign needs. We installed out EverLast wall systems to refinish the exterior walls, and create rooms out of the open basement space. We installed a full bathroom, and put in the cabinets to create a kitchenette area. We also put in a new floor using out Mill Creek Flooring, and painted the ceiling to create a fully finished look. We also put in the egress door as requested, so there was a secure exit that could be used reguarly.
We're very pleased with how this full basement refinishing came out, and how beautiful the space is. We hope that this family can enjoy this space for many years to come.
